the best way to beat the rat race in the water is to work on the west coast of ireland during summer months, the place rocks!! scored crab island 2 weeks ago solid 4-6 foot medium crowd epic waves, fisty 2foot clean and mobbed, the most anoying thing about fisty is the relentless chanting of the life guards screaming at every one to respect the rules and regulations, bollocks to that escape to the emerald isle, the grass really is sweater on the other side!!!!

fistral is fistral, if you want to ride alone, or a comp free break, you need too search out your own water, sad acts who complain forget that with the comps and the townies comes the £, SAVE IT & TRAVEL

Has good banks and is one of the UK's most consistent breaks, but if you can get a wave on your own here you surf in the dark.. and even then only if they're not running a night comp!
