8 Dec 2013 · alex · Porthmeor wow that wave looks sick
19 Aug 2013 · Waverhyder · Rhosilli Bay Great waves, Ideal for beginners. Can catch some very long breaks on some days, though the stairs to the bay coming from the carpark are horrendous and can be a bugger to take a board down.
2 Dec 2012 · jchb · Lannacombe lannacombe local.....ok mate where do you live? bristol...
23 Feb 2012 · eightlegged · Ogmore Nice place Ogmore
7 Sep 2010 · skasteppa · North Bay Great place for beginner intermediates, went a few weeks back and had an ace session, locals were friendly, beginnners should steer clear of the far end of the bay toward the Castele- scary rocks. try the food at the poncy restaurant near the chalets, well tasty after a day in the water:)
1 Jan 2010 · silvabak · North Bay ol' faithful
1 Jan 2010 · silvabak · Pump house As seen on T.V.!!
1 Jan 2010 · eightlegged · Pump house Can hold a full on right hand barrel when the tide is low. Breaks over a boulder reef so it's a bit knarly!
1 Jan 2010 · eightlegged · Thurso East At high tide this has to be one of the fastest, biggest barreling waves in the UK. At low tide it will still kick your arse, but you might just make one!! unless your used to these kind of waves of course.
1 Jan 2010 · m3d8 · Bunkers A classic when the banks are right - crowds a bit of a problem
1 Jan 2010 · silvabak · Bunkers concurs with the over-population concept : tubes of flesh, bone & rubber! A possible brand in the making: "fistral of the north"!
1 Jan 2010 · eightlegged · Bunkers Maxed out on bigger swells, and one of the most crowded waves in the north! avoid if at all possible.
1 Jan 2010 · eazyd247 · Bunkers Can be great, but most of the time I get there your either paddling through endless shore breaks or fighting with loads of others for average waves
1 Jan 2010 · silvabak · South Bay magic!! ie. turns s*** occasionly into something that doesn't resemble 'it' at all!
1 Jan 2010 · eightlegged · South Bay Works well in big south easterly swells. It can clean up Big northly swell in Strong N/NE winds but often disapoints in those conditions.
1 Jan 2010 · eightlegged · Fistral Has good banks and is one of the UK's most consistent breaks, but if you can get a wave on your own here you surf in the dark.. and even then only if they're not running a night comp!
1 Jan 2010 · silvabak · Saltburn it's quite good really, very dependable, nestle amongst crowd-breaks
1 Jan 2010 · eightlegged · Brims Ness This has to be one of the most full on reefs in the UK. Picks up any swell in the area. If it's flat every where else you should get a wave here!.. Worth going to visit when it's Maxed out as it can be an immpresive sight!
1 Jan 2010 · eightlegged · Towan Close out city! only good when there a strong SW wind, but then only if you can't get else where..
1 Jan 2010 · silvabak · Whitby Surprisingly good!!
1 Jan 2010 · eightlegged · Whitby Incredably good at high tide when strong South Easterly winds are blowing out every where else. The harbour wall gives protection from the winds and clens up the surf.
1 Jan 2010 · GROMMIT ABUSE · Whitby world class beach break, when it works!
1 Jan 2010 · GROMMIT ABUSE · Whitby great
1 Jan 2010 · GROMMIT ABUSE · Sands End Sandsend its the sickist place to surf by far. great wave
1 Jan 2010 · m3d8 · Sands End Good waves can be had - banks dependent , + respect the locals they've earnt it!
1 Jan 2010 · silvabak · Sands End Can be hard work - but when it's on it's on!!
1 Jan 2010 · eightlegged · Perranporth Massive beach, so you can usually find a peak to yourself if you want one. Has a mint Beach Bar.. Go there on a Friday night.
1 Jan 2010 · m3d8 · Torresdale The name speaks volumes!
1 Jan 2010 · silvabak · Torresdale Seldom surfed & under-rated: it's a closeout! -Honest!!
1 Jan 2010 · silvabak · Hells Mouth filthy!!!
1 Jan 2010 · GROMMIT ABUSE · Hells Mouth absolutly NECTER world class
1 Jan 2010 · GROMMIT ABUSE · Crantock THE 2nd BEST LEFT ON THIS COAST
1 Jan 2010 · silvabak · Crantock if you like the easy life of predictable so-called perfection you'll probably fall head over heels for this sickly-sweet gem
1 Jan 2010 · silvabak · Penhale cross to offshore on S-SE winds, long point break , all abilities, mid-low tide, careful of the rip which runs in the same direction as the wave make getting to the peak a hassle!
1 Jan 2010 · eightlegged · Bournemouth Pier Shitty locals, crap wave.. If you have to surf here Move!!
1 Jan 2010 · silvabak · Cromer Pier take a 10ft planck and you might have some fun after all!
1 Jan 2010 · eightlegged · Aberdeen This place is always worth a vist either when the north coast is Maxed out, or when it's flat but there's a SE showing in Aberdeen.
1 Jan 2010 · eightlegged · Dunnet Bay A lot more mellow than it's sister break across the river. Holds a mellow left and a quite full on right. can be hard to get the tide right as it works on Low-mid through to Mid-High.. hard window to catch!
1 Jan 2010 · m3d8 · Sango Bay Well worth the walk - the sights are breath taking and the waves not either!
1 Jan 2010 · silvabak · Hayle Rivermouth a nice, but hollow break not far from Agadir - 30kms or about 6 1/2 hrs from whitby by plane and car! Named after the ship's boiler that lies wrecked near the take-off zone!
25 Aug 2008 · shredddordie · The Gare toxic, dirty, filthy amazing right hander, the hard north at its best
25 Aug 2008 · shredddordie · North Bay northbay works brilliantly excellent spot not been at it long but scarborough holds some of the friendliest surfers around big shout out to the fluid concept boys thats where its at
22 Jul 2008 · lanza · North Bay I've been enjoying it overhead, shame about the corwd, most off them dissappear when it get's bigger. Oly raves about 'rights'......
30 May 2008 · Sie Baker · Croyde What a nightmare!! croyde on a weekend!! 300+ people in the water and it wasn't even surfable!! Avoid this place like the plague!! or become one of the masses!! I feel for the locals around here.. hence the removal of most devon breaks!
24 Apr 2008 · Sie Baker · Ogmore One of my favorite photographs ive taken!
