Description :
 Lovely Bay just south of Newquay, has a river mouth at the northly end. Offers a lot of protection from winds due to step sided cliffs either side, but also picks up less swell. Parking a nightmare unless you don't mind paddling accross the river at high tide.


Directions :
 Just south of Newquay, head for the Pentire for easier parking but you've got to cross the river

Comments about  Crantock

My favourite break in cornwall, just keeps running on a good day. All locals that surf there are extremely kind and very uncrowded in summer compared to fistral etc. Stokesy loves the spot when hes actually in britain!
