Stavros, I dbluoe-dog-dare you to post that, complete with graphs, to MeFi, either as a FPP or a comment in another SARS thread!

Posted on Sarah, Ive never atlualcy read any of that Excalibur, but Im pretty sure as far as author-inserts hooking up with characters goes, Pete Wisdom was handled a lot better than that creepy guy who married Donna Troy.Matt, Im with you on that long list of geek things Ive never seen. My own list, while different from yours, is equally long and causes me mixed distress and defensiveness.Chris, you atlualcy make me a little sad I missed the 80s/90s comic collecting boom! That Video Jack thing sounds legitimately awesome.Jeff thats a great point, about seeing a Jedi in action. I think watching Obi-Wans arc is the best part of the prequels, and I would hate for that not to exist. The movies definitely have merit.

Great place for beginner intermediates, went a few weeks back and had an ace session, locals were friendly, beginnners should steer clear of the far end of the bay toward the Castele- scary rocks. try the food at the poncy restaurant near the chalets, well tasty after a day in the water:)

Ive been enjoying it overhead, shame about the corwd, most off them dissappear when it gets bigger. Oly raves about rights......

North Bay is the best on the right swell when the right hander is working in the corner (not very often since they did the sea defense).

Since the work has finished this place has got better and is a great place for beginner surfers to get more equipped for the bigger and better waves

This spot takes anything the North sea throws at it (swell from N/NE/E/SE, clean, messy- good wind options) and translates it into something ridable, can get perfect on clean 3-4ft ground swell..shame about the sea wall- those pesky victorians!
